Not sure I'd give up anything to get him, but if he makes it through unclaimed and the Twins actually cut him loose I'd call him and see if he wanted to spend the rest of the season in Gwinnett and have Chipper work with him a bit.
 
worth a flier if you are wiling to put him on the 40 man and play him. Bad defender who bats LH so unless we move Markakis....

Personally wouldn't think twice about cutting EOF loose to see if Chipper and Seitzer could help him.
 
Could be useful as a fourth outfielder. Career OPS against righties .785. Against lefties .620.

If we had three right handed starting outfielders, I'd be happy with him as the fourth guy.
 
Yes yes yes. I've been saying we should trade for him but now much easier. He's obviously got some flaws to his game but he's got real power. I think it's crazy if we don't take a flier on him

Exactly. Especially someone at his age with his power potential. Again, he was DFA for a reason....but we absolutely should be taking a flyer on guys like him
