OT Immaculate Grid

That would be another reason, lol. I swear I get Tiger and Sox players mixed up all the time. They're both midwestern teams with similar black and white jerseys.

You might have been thinking of Bobby Abreu hitting 40 homers during the 2005 Derby at Comerica.

Went with Doyle Alexander, JD Drew, and Ruth for the Braves column. All single digits with Ruth at 2%. Went with fairly obvious ones for the rest. A pretty easy grid today although Rockies/Tigers took a bit.

I love when I get to use my Braves knowledge, went with Jair Jurrjens, Ray "Burger" King, and Kyle Davies for 0.9%0.4% and 0.01%

I'm happy I got to use my boy Kyle Davies. wonder if there's any 40 HR hitters under a percentage. I took a big gamble with yankees and Tino Martinez. Still got 2%. Honestly Tigers have anyone other than Miggy and Cecil Fielder with 40+? Did Granderson do it at one point.

The other Tigers are Hank Greenberg, Rocky Colavito, Norm Cash, and Darrell Evans.

Granderson did for Yankees but not Detroit. Almost went with him too instead of Tino, but I figured with Detroit on the board already that a lot of people would likely guess Granderson for the Yanks.

Rockies/Tigers: Juan Rincon (I have no idea why I remembered that name)
Rockies/Cardinals: Jason Marquis
Rockies/Yankees: Joe Girardi
Braves/Tigers: Travis Demeritte
Braves/Cardinals: Eli Marrero
Braves/Yankees: Chasen Shreve
Tigers/40+: Hank Greenberg
Cardinals/40+: McGwire
Yankees/40+: Giambi

Rarity score - 51. I could have done way better than McGwire.

Finally got my rarity score under 100 thanks to former Braves.
wont forget Neagle pitched one year for the Yanks then signed that big deal with Colorado same time Mike Hampton did.

I was trying to decide between Mike Stanton, Chris Hammond, and Gerald Williams. For NYY/Braves. Went with Hammond because he cashed out after his historic season with us and got a nice 2-3 year deal with yanks. Dude barely threw 82mph.

Marquis. Lairdership. Adam Blownero. Nuff said. Didnt know many tigers sluggers outside of Palmer and Cabrera. Cabrera was the same pick. I wondered if Magglio at some point hit 40 his few years there. Edmonds was the non-Pujols/McGwire pick. Seemed like when Edmonds moved over from Anaheim he just became a monster for the Cards. Giambi was the random pick for me. Couldn’t remember if any of the 90’s yanks core of Tino Bernie Oneil ever hit 40.

Did anyone try All Star Omar? My love for Lairdership is only surpassed by Lockhart Love. Wasn’t gonna turn down Laird usage. Will use him again when it’s AZ-ATL

I did on my second try. Also pulled Bernard Gilkey for Braves/Cardinals and did reverse Ray King for Cards/Rockies.
