OT Immaculate Grid

Surprised Saltalmacchia was at 7%.

Lowest for me was Travis Hafner at 2%, which surprised me at how high that was.

Cliff Lee was someone I thought of and should have used, but didn't think he played for SEA. I forgot he got traded there for a half season.

I blew two guesses on Red Sox/Rangers and tried Saberhagen for Royals 200K season because I didn't want Grienke. That Mariners row.

Extremely impressive Mariners row.

I almost put Saberhagen just because like you I didn't wanna go the obvious Greinke route. I was thinking of Appier/Cone as well.

Same here. But almost went with Shields over Greinke. Ended up going Greinke.

Also, I always do a couple games on incognito mode to see if the players I didn't end up going with were right or not. FYI, Shields and Cone were duds.

I knew Appier had a 200k season just from the Triple Play Baseball stat cards.

My brother and I used to do the season long mode and trade all the best players to our teams. So used to look at every team's best overall players lol.

drew you just try for the most obscure ones of all time, or just ended up that way? lol

A little Column A, a little Column B. I have some gaps where I didn't pay attention outside of the Braves, and I usually try to dodge the most obvious ones. But sometimes I don't even think of the most obvious ones.

Tough one today for finding low percentage guys. Lowest I found was Kurt Suzuki @ 2%

Yeah, there's got to be some I didn't think of but I could only come up with big ones for the most part. My lowest was all Twins related. Fernando Rodney 1% but my grab was B*** B**** at 0.3%. Which I admit was a stab in the dark guess. I was hoping more people woudl have forgotten Big Papi was a Twin than they did. He wasn't the number 1, but he was probably number 2. But I mean I hit 96 on 3000 hitters.

I went with different approach for the 3000 hitters. 1% for A's Eddie Collins and 1% for Rickey with the Padres. Couldn't think of an A's/Twins player though.

MLB The Show helped me figure out Brent Rooker for MIN/OAK, though I hate to get anything over 10% on this game.

They’ve added the rarity score for those of us who love to stack up on the low% obscure guys.

lower the better.

I'm shocked that my guess of Cliff Floyd for Natspos-Mets was lower (0.2) than my pick for Cubs-Fish of Antonio Alfonseca (0.6).

Today I also learned that Jim Abbott never won 20 games. He got close with 18.
