Im glad we traded him too. I believe his value was never going to be higher. Hes a very powerful hitter, but has holes in his swing and doent play defense well anywhere.

I wonder if Gattis is having some difficulty adjusting to the DH role. There's a change of pace (and preparation) because a guy doesn't stay warm/loose by playing in the field. It may take him a while to get acclimated to his new role.

Maybe, but he was amazing as a pinch hitter so I don't think he has a problem getting loose for an AB after sitting on the bench.

Yep, glad we traded him when we did, and for the package we did. We clearly won that deal. Should I be upset about that?

I like the Gattis trade the most, but he will hit fine this year. DH is perfect spot for him long term.
