Ozzie Albies Update From Mark Bowman (Don’t Get Too Excited)

Do we really want Ozzie taking meaningful AB with no real game warm up? Just shelf him for next season
 
I want Ozzie back regardless. We get into the playoffs we are the most dangerous team there. Especially if Ozzie and Riley cone back.

Ozzie at full strength, absolutely. I just don't want him taking his first ABs in months in the playoffs

2nd half of September means he'll get plenty of real game experience before the playoffs. Probably somewhere around 50-60 PAs.
 
Two weeks of September would be great - only problem is, those most likely won’t be “meaningless pre-playoff games” - we are probably going to be fighting tooth and nail with Philly and Mets…. So we need his butt in AAA Monday. :)

Considering he posted a video of him on IG driving to the airport, picking up a huge (and I mean huge) Koi fish for his custom koi pond, bringing it home and tripping while he’s carrying it from his car, etc - and that was now over a month ago (July 27), he better damn well be hitting off a tee by now.
