Ozzie debut tonight

If they want to play him at SS and move Camargo to 3B, I'm fine with this. If they're bumping Phillips out or Albies won't be playing every. single. day., then I'm confused.

.244 avg with 24% K rate in his last 10, coupled with no positional need in an already crowded infield.. The obvious choice is to promote him to Atl and start his clock, cost him rookie eligibility, and probably ride the bench most nights.

What position is he going to play? I would presume Philips is going to play everyday he's healthy, so that leaves SS and 3B. Why would we call Albies up to play out of position?

This is way dumber than calling Swanson up.

My guess is Freddie goes back to 1st, really no reason to showcase or play Adams on certain days now...Camargo at 3rd and Albies at SS

He's on a cold streak, the infield is packed, there are the obvious clock implications.
I don't get it.

Didn't Freddie tweak his right shoulder last night on an infield bunt play? I wonder if it is more serious then initially thought. Certainly made me think that the FO's heart jumped into their throat if Freddie hurts himself playing 3B.

You've got a bunch of old men calling the shots that have no concern about what happens 5 years from now

They just want to reach respectability as fast as possible so they can ride off in glory

When things get tough in 2021 and 2022 they will just say that they left the team in good shape

And while I am no Coppy apologist by any means it's clear that he is GM only in name

I don't like this decision for both development and service time reasons, but I will say it's more defensible than last year's Dansby call-up.

I'm not one to be too concerned with clock/service time. I just want him to be ready and playing every day. I don't consider him ready and I'm not sure how they play him every day. So.

The kid has been ready but I don't like the timing.should have waited a month.Well regardless, he's up now so no use in bitching about it and I for one expect him to stay up.
