MLB.com's Mark Bowman reports that Tyler Pastornicky's left knee injury is "starting to sound like more than just a day-to-day deal."

Pastornicky underwent an MRI Thursday, and although the results are not yet known, it sounds like the news won't be good. The Braves are getting thin on second base options, as Dan Uggla (eye surgery) is already on the DL.

Since La Stella is in Pensacola right now it wouldn't take much time to get him up here if we need him.

Uggla's all like "come on homie, I know you dont love baseball but I know you LOVEEEEE money. I make 8 figures a year, you're still at 6. I'll throw you some paper your way if you take him out."

I wonder who they are considering.
 
Zito keeps proclaiming how world beating Heywards D is in Rf, but you definitely have to deduct points for putting his team mates on the DL

Apparently the Phillies have a 2:30PM news conference, per beat writer Zolecki.
 
In all likelihood, it's Michael 'I'm so' Young.

I think I would rather have Keith Lockhart come out of retirement using his new acquired compromising pictures of Fredi Gonzalez and Gerry Laird.
