Peaceful protesters being arrested...

Depends. Would those buisnesses not have been damaged if the local leaders ordered police to do whatever necessary to prevent the damage? Me thinks that would have only led to more violence and a larger and prolonged protest.

After my discussions with VP Pence and others, the federal government has

agreed to withdraw federal officers from Portland. They have acted as an

occupying force & brought violence. Starting tomorrow, all Customs and Border

Protection & ICE officers will leave downtown Portland.

This is welcome news. De-escalate. The size of the crowds will diminish and it will be easier for local law enforcement to deal with the chuckleheads.

Polls are tightening all across the nation. People see the democrats for what they are.

Apparently pulling plywood off already damaged buildings is peaceful protesting.

I guess crossing our fingers didn’t work.

Those folks in a crowd are really comfortable getting in someone’s face. Chances are they’ve never insulted someone and gotten their ass whipped.

With video like that around, can’t blame people for arming themselves.

And that justifies beating the protesters who arent doing that?

Perhaps it would serve the protesters better to segregate themselves from the rioters so that they can be discerned from rioters. Here are some examples, stop protesting at 3AM under the cover of darkness. Don't wear battle gear. Stay very far away from those that are weilding weapons and attacking buildings, property and police.

It just seems to my discerning eye that nearly all the flamboyant "shock" footage of police and "protesters" embattled occurs in the dead of night. This indicates that during the day, protests are far less riotous. And as the sun sets, actual protesting ceases and rioting begins.

The movie above. Rioting. Sure those lumberjack women in roller derby helmets may have done nothing violent. Or perhaps they did. But they've surrounded themselves with rioters and their probably going to get knocked to the ****ing ground and treated like rioters. What's that phrase so many like to roll out these days, "**** around and find out"?
