We've been together for 14 years so I think this is as low of a risk marriage as there can be.

But did you guys have premarital sex?

I'm doing well. I'm lurching toward semi-retirement working in a world of government and, by extension, politics that has become increasingly uncomfortable and often incomprehensible given my coming-of-age in a much more consensus-driven era. Still following the Braves but not as ardently as I did in the past. I stop in here to catch up on what the true experts have to say.

I hope you have the wherewithal to follow them more ardently this year!!

What was your first marriage/divorce like? I asked as someone with a rampant history of divorce down both sides of my immediate and extended families

Got together as kids (19) - Grew apart. Mostly split amicably although it was definitely initiated from her side. Fortunately we didn't have children together. At the time thought it was the worst thing that could ever happen. Ended up being the best thing as I now have everything I've ever dreamed of in life.
