Sad day

Peter Moylan has announced his retirement after 12 major league seasons.
The 40-year-old spent nine of his 12 seasons with Atlanta while also enduring brief stints with the Dodgers and Royals. Though his big-league career is now over, Moylan plans to continue pitching in Italy and also hopes to represent his native Australia in the upcoming Olympics. The right-hander pitched to a 3.10 ERA across 418 2/3 major league innings. Each of his 499 appearances came in relief.

Is it just me, or did it seem like he played in way more than 12 seasons?

Debuted in 2006. It probably seems like he played more because Bobby and Fredi kept using him in what seemed like almost every game. I still remember his debut with us at Shea Stadium. Nasty movement. Game was on Turner South.
