Playoffs discussion 2020

I’d rather pay a little bit more and not have to worry about a slow internet connection and buffering while I am trying to watch something. If it works for you, great. I prefer to be able to turn my TV on and watch whatever I want.
If you use some streaming service and don’t get channel XYZ, I don’t feel bad for you at all.

i don't even understand what you're trying to say. i don't think you do either.
why do you think i can't turn my tv on and watch whatever i want? what does that mean?
i can count on one hand the amount of times the last 6+ years my internet prevented me from watching tv, and it was brief. like, maybe 5-10 minutes, tops.

do you think every cable package comes with every channel?
there's so much to unpack here!

Sounds like someone who might still be using a flip phone

I am glad the streaming option has worked for you. You are right. Not all TV packages are equal. I am assuming there are different packages available from the streaming companies too? Everyone has their preferences for how they watch things. This conversation doesn’t need to be a fight or argument.

Back to baseball.
Seems like the Yankees and Dodgers are on a collision course that ends in Arlington. Realistically can anyone stop either of them from making it to the World Series? Usually in the World Series people can find a team to “root” for, but it’s two forms of evil if the Yankees and Dodgers meet.

If it happened, I'd pull for the Dodgers. They've not won since 1988... it would at least new in that regard.

Need acuna, FF, and ozuna to get smoking hot starting today.

I actually don't mind either of those teams. The media feeding frenzy surrounding such a match-up would be a bit hard to stomach, but they are both solid, well-run teams. I save all of my disdain for the Phillies and the Nationals (and Cubs' and Red Sox' fans).

I think the Dodgers are gonna have a tough time with the Padres. Now that it’s looking like Clevinger is back and is gonna start game one and Lament may be back as well it’s gonna make it a tough series.

I absolutely think a healthy Padres squad can give the Dodgers everything they could handle. I don’t think this Padres squad can though. If Clevinger pitches more than 3 innings and does not hurt himself I will be surprised.

I'd love the opportunity to worry about an American League team.

I'm hoping the Padres pour it out and beat the Dodgers and we are able to beat the fish quickly.
