Interesting. The last time the Astros were in the World Series, they tied game 2 up in the 9th and then lost in the bottom of the ninth on a walk off homer by Scott Podsednik to go down 2-0.

Between that and the umpire saving the Astros the game with his nutsack, this game provided both comedy and drama.

Don't understand how you East Coasters do this. The game ended at 9:30 PM in California and I was tempted to turn the TV off and head to bed. I can't imagine staying up past midnight

We've had years of practice.

You forget when the Braves play in:

Colorado - 9:05 start
Arizona - 9:35 start
LAD/SD it's 10:05 or 10:35 on weekends.

Those games at minimum would end at midnight, if they were high scoring they wouldn't end until 1-2am sometimes. There was a 14 inning game in 2006 at the Padres I think, high scoring game and it didn't end til around 3am ish I wanna say.
