How many lives were saved by invading a thread and pushing your political agenda? There is a time and a place for everything. Coming into a thread with someone asking for prayers and saying prayers aren't needed and going into another direction isn't the time or place.
 
Mossy, I'm terribly sorry for what's happened in your community. I'm sick that it continues to happen and everyone's reaction after 2-3 days is throw their arms up and say nothing.

EDIT: My former coworker and current supervisor did all her undergraduate and graduate work at Delta State University, where they had the shootings a couple of weeks ago. She was pretty upset about it even though she doesn't even really know anybody there anymore. This is just the seriously effed up time in which we live.
 
I don't know why people are shocked with this reply from goldfly, it's what he always does. It's predictable.

Sorry to hear what happened Jamie, can't imagine it's easy for you even a little bit.
 
Thanks for the kind words. I'm at work now, and you can see it on everyone's faces what kind of day they've had.

The community has rallied around in support of those affected. Local business have dropped off more food than we know what to do with.

Sorry for being pissy earlier. I'm rather reactive, and add that my friends were in the thick of transporting multiple gunshot wounds, I went on the offensive.

i mean, i do post it in every mass shooting thread

which says something about this topic that my thoughts of not caring about this cause it will keep happening cause we don't do anything bothers some of yall more than actually doing something about the tragedy we just let keep happening for no reason

I see another thread on this topic. You can actually discuss this how you want there and leave this for those who want to offer up prayers. It is possible to do both.
