personally I don't have a problem with what Obama has said thusfar, my problem is what he hasn't said loudly enough and it's exactly the same thing njc just said, no matter what else happens shooting policemen is WRONG, period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
So long as cops are hunting black people I dont want to hear them complain about being hunted. Wars have casualties on both sides. When its just one side doing all the killing we call that genocide. End the war on poor people and the cop killing will stop. No one wins when we persecute poor people for trivial crimes that have no victim. We just make a criminal out of an otherwise innocent person which severely limits their education and job opportunities which traps them in poverty. Their job is to "protect and serve" not "persecute and execute".

Shooting anyone isn't necessarily wrong, IF it's in self defense, and I mean REAL self defense. Yes we are sometimes too lenient when people from certain groups shoot people and we need to do a better job of training and evaluating those people, but while it's far from my favorite thing, it is sometimes a necessary evil, just not every time certain people do it.
 
I think we all have a right to defend our freedom by whatever means necessary. Unless someone has done harm to someone or their property no one has the right to deny them their basic freedom. Those who would use violence to deny innocent people their freedom are not exempt from retribution. If a cop shoots an unarmed person they need to go to prison. Theres very few acceptable cases of shooting unarmed people and "he might have gone for my gone" isnt one of them.
