On this day in 1969, the Chicago Police department, operating as a death squad,

executed the Black Panther Fred Hampton w/ two shots to the head at point-blank range.

The operation was a cold-blooded political assassination carried out

with assistance from the FBI.

Seems like forcing men in those situations would be an unsafe working enviroment. If any woman alone with a man can make a complaint with no evidence and is automatically believed then men have the right to ask for protections.

Let me give an example. One buisness owner had a female employee overnight at his house. Nothing romantic, just buisness. She claims he came into her room at night and raped her. Turns out her fitbit snitched on her and proved the story was a lie. If not for that this man would most likely be in prison branded a sez offender for the rest of his life.

I dont know about the rest of you but I dont want to risk my life on the honesty and integrity of women. I wont even babysit my girlfriends kids. Not coming back on me 7 years later with false claims cause she is mad at me. And yes, I have a friend serving a life sentence for claims 7 years old.

Alright... let's recap

The twitter mob got:

Kevin Hart - he's stepped down from oscars

Sarah Silverman and Amy Shcumar have had homophobic tweets exposed.. we'll see if their lives get ruined

Tonight, Jack Dorsey had a tranny tweet dug up... he owns twitter so we'll see what happens

Here's what we know... tweets 10 years ago define who are you today. I think this sums it up well

I imagine you're one of the losers who dig up old posts from teenagers in order to try to ruin a major life accomplishment.

Cool brand y'all built

sturg33, agree with you on the ludicrous nature of the so-called contract for comics at whatever event was being held. Humor often needs to be pointed and show how the juxtaposition of odd pairs of items/circumstances is humorous. We are way past the days of the casual racism of my youth (which is good), but we have to quit bubble-wrapping these kids.

nsacpi, so much for religious freedom. What a terrible story.

hmmm...

seems to me that there is a distinction between

1) serving customers equally regardless of sexual orientation and

2) being forced to endorse something that violates ones religious beliefs

I'd have to know some details to decide which side of the line this one falls. I've come to believe that the sensitivities of all parties (not to mention our laws against discrimination) can be respected in these situations with a little good will and flexibility on the part of everyone concerned.
