No surprise to see the Braves shopping Adams. Who might be interested?

Tampa comes to mind. I would offer Adams plus one of Wentz/Wilson/Sims/Fried for Odorizzi.

Dodgers might be releasing Adrian Gonzalez. Adams for one of Ryu/McCarthy makes some sense for both teams.

Indians are not going to re-sign Santana. So maybe Adams plus a second-tier prospect for Tomlin.

Who else is a possible trade partner?

MLBTR also identifies the Angels as a possible MAdams destination.

Problem is teams like the Rays are going to wait for the 2018 version of Logan Morrison for $2.5M, or Adam Lind for $1.5M.

Most other teams are going to focus on Hosmer, Santana and Abreu, and then sign a cheap option later in the offseason as a fallback plan.

MAdams will most likely be non-tendered and then signed late in the offseason for half of his projected arb salary. The Braves don't have the payroll space to risk keeping a $5M bench player they may not be able to trade in 2 months.

A far cry from what many around here thought his trade value was after popping a few HRs for Atlanta.

Not sure why Cleveland would be interested - they presently have to find a place for Kipnis and Chisenhall as it is, and re-signing Bruce would make more sense since he can at least play competent defense in the OF.

Just trade MAdams to the Rays straight up for Odorizzi, right? According to you, that trade makes too much sense NOT to happen.

I still can't believe your Sale for Jenkins trade didn't happen.
 
Because of the landscape we're not going to get much for him, but I think there could be a market for Adams. Lomo and Alonso had career years at 30 and are probably going to be waiting it out expecting to cash in. I'd take Adams over Duda or Moreland. It dfepends on the GM. A team like the Rays doesn't mind waiting it out and taking the cheapest player, but some GM's would rather fill that hole.

My money would be on the BoSox getting JDM and Santana, or trading for Abreu. Hosmer is a possibility of his asking price cokes down.

My bet for the Angels is a low cost guy at 1B (maybe MAdams a month from now) and a trade for one of the many available 2B...I’ll say they get Dee Gordon since he won’t require much in the way of prospect value if they take his full contract.
 
It would be so much easier for the Braves to gauge trade interest in MAdams if they could somehow leave him unprotected for the R5 draft.

Kemp was injured and you've even said that on numerous occasions.
