Post-Season Thread

The Ms didn’t use their best BP arm in the most important part of the game because it wasn’t a save chance and now they are probably going home.

Positionless BP usage should be an absolute requirement for the next Braves manager.
I agree and imagine it's a challenge. The manager really has to instill a team-first attitude in the bullpen and for guys who like to rack up easy saves some convincing may be required. I don't know what factors arbitrators use when making their rulings, but I hope they look well beyond counting stats in the process.

you would think I would hate the Jays more than I do.. the only WS game I have ever been to was the 92 Jeff Rear-endon blown game. But I don't hate all those teams that beat the Braves in the 90s... I think the team was just out managed and was a bit unlucky. I do still hate some of the people in that era.. Kent Hrbek (buy a fucking vowel douche).. Eric Gregg (death was not good enough).. Jim Leyritz... to name a couple.

But back to that game specifically.. when Cox made the call to Rearendon, the whole section around me was like.. NOOOOOOO
Believe me, it was tough being a Braves' fan up here in Minnesota during the 1991 World Series. Hrbek channeling Dick Butkus was only a part of it. Lonnie Smith falling for Knoblauch's deke was a brain-fart for all time. Of course, if Otis Nixon hadn't had his nose injury late in the season, the Braves probably run the Twins into the ground.

Only World Series game I’ve attended was the Rangers clinching against the Diamondbacks in Phoenix. Arizona was playing with free money that year.
