Would still like to get Lombard on the staff but probably not much point in him making a lateral move
He’s from Atlanta. Maybe he would like to be home.Would still like to get Lombard on the staff but probably not much point in him making a lateral move

After I believeDoes the coming work stoppage begin after next season or during?
Agree, but I hope that there is a serious sit-down to talk about roster construction. Look at the Dodgers. They have a set of guys that can not only play multiple positions, but play them well. Braves simply do not have that and that really limits in-game maneuvering.I'm looking forward to seeing a Braves lineup and roster that's managed in a mostly optimized way. If the locker room can't embrace a guy coming in that just helped his team win back-2-back WS because he's not part of the Braves Way of things, then get them out of there.
This all day. The pitching needs work but the offense and bench needs a lot of attention. We need 2 guys that can play all over and play well on both sides of the ball in case somebody goes down and we don't need a DH only guy that's why I've been preaching about Bellinger and the versatility he brings.Agree, but I hope that there is a serious sit-down to talk about roster construction. What's a package for him and gray look like?Donovan from the Cards might be traded and fits that mold.
Donovan would be a really good pickup.Donovan from the Cards might be traded and fits that mold.
Probably so, but I can’t shake the possibility that things get intense enough that the work stoppage could be earlier. Whatever the case may be, and I hope I’m wrong, that the coming stoppage feels like 1994-95After I believe
I would argue he was limited in the lead and secondary he could get because the third baseman was pretty close to the bag. If dude hits a line drive and he's halfwayish down the line, it's a double play, inning over. It was the hitter's job to hit the ball to the outfield and he couldn't do it.Wow- IKF got zero secondary lead on that grounder or he scores standing up
Not in that situation, he could get another 2-3I would argue he was limited in the lead and secondary he could get because the third baseman was pretty close to the bag. They had like 7 hits through 3. Incredible not to have blown it open. That was the Jays series to lose and they did. The Dodgers pushed all the right buttons in game 7 and the Jays couldn't.
Taking Bichette who was a beast this year and had already given you the lead out of the game when you knew there was a chance it would go to extras was a huge no no.They had like 7 hits through 3. Incredible not to have blown it open.
Also they had a lot of outs on the basepaths, those are usually back breakers
He only needed an extra step and could have easily extended his lead by 3 (the rule of thumb is to be the same distance from the base as the fielder)I would argue he was limited in the lead and secondary he could get because the third baseman was pretty close to the bag.
