Postseason Thread

Just heard someone who called into a local radio show and complained that last nights game was too long and nothing exciting happened. The talk show host who routinely complains about baseball was in total agreement. What an idiot.

must win for the Muts tonight?? I would think so.. hard to keep your confidence if you go down 2 - 0 and just lost when your 2 'Aces' were on the hill. I know they would be going home to a great environment.. but the pressure to win all three at home would be immense if they were down 2 -0.. They would have to bring Harvey back on short rest instead of pitching Matz..

Losing tonight would be a killer. The Royals would only need to win 1 in NY and get to win it at home.

It's a cliché, but if you didn't like that game, you just don't like baseball. Which also means that you are, indeed, an idiot.

the game was awesome, but I have been pulling some late nights catching up on some regulatory deadlines at work. I fell asleep when it was tied at 3. I woke up around 3am and was pissed I didn't know what happened. I got my phone so I could read.. I missed some great moments.

I mean, I don't care if you don't like baseball. But, if you are complaining about the sport like it's the problem and you didn't enjoy one of the greatest World Series games of all time, then the problem is clearly you.

I'm sure it's posted somewhere but what's the story behind the dude scored out in Marlins gear behind home plate? He was there during last years playoffs too...

I had patients to see this AM, so I went ahead and got in the bed during the top of the 14th inning.
