Wagner convoy getting close to Moscow.
That kind of move requires a logistic train. Food, fuel, etc. Seems to have been well-planned. I'm surprised fuel depots along the way haven't been blown up. The absence (so far) of countermeasures (including airstrikes) is surprising. Perhaps some elements of the Russian security forces have simply decided to stay on the sidelines.

Mikhail B. Khodorkovsky, a Russian businessman who has sought to unite groups opposing Putin, called on Russians opposed to the regime to arm themselves.
He said the dramatic standoff would likely result in further repression.
“If you see the strength in yourself in the future to become those armed people who will oppose Putin or Prigozhin, then it’s time to arm yourself,” he said. “Prigozhin is not our friend and not even our ally. He is a bandit and a war criminal. But his rebellion is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and there won’t be another like it for a long time.”

looking at this map this morning made me think this advance was historically unsustainable.

Maybe controversial, but I bet conservative commentators suggesting the CIA did this to cover for the Hunter Biden stuff probably got it partially right. I do not think the timing was intentional or ordered by Biden, but it does certainly feel like a thing the US Government under either party would do just for ****s and giggles.
