Profar Suspended 80 Games

If you're in the last year of your deal and you aren't that great, PEDs should be a must do. Think about it - Profar was basically done, but he cheated and got a nice pay day. If he hadn't cheated, he probably wouldn't have got a mlb deal

This, he does have to donate half a season of salary, but he'll still get the remaining 35 million guaranteed as long as he doesn't fail another test. Unethical, but brilliant.

And pro tip, heavily back load/defer your contract so you only lose a relatively small portion due to the 80 games.

Because he backloaded his contract to earn more than last 2 years of the deal, he loses less overall being caught this year. He knew what he was doing when he negotiated that contract and knew it was a possibility.

Remember when I said that, considering how terrible Profar is in the field, we’d be better off just keeping Soler since he is a more sure thing with the bat?

Looks like it's only roughly $1 million difference with 12/15/15 vs.14/14/14. Could have been worse.
