no doubt three or four of you will trip over yourselves with counter excuses and other enabling tactics.
but what happened ----- happened

WASHINGTON—He accused Puerto Ricans of throwing the federal budget “out of whack.”

He suggested Puerto Rico had not experienced a “real catastrophe” like Hurricane Katrina, since a mere “16 people” had been confirmed dead.

He told a family of hurricane victims to “have a good time.”

He tossed paper towels to another group of victims, in a church, as if he was shooting basketball free throws.

He told a third group of victims that they don’t need flashlights any longer, though 90 per cent of the island was still without power.

He refused to speak to the mayor of San Juan.

And, as usual, Donald Trump congratulated himself.

Facing withering criticism for his delayed and then belligerent response to the Puerto Rican hurricane crisis, Trump’s Tuesday visit to San Juan was a chance to begin to repair the wounds he had caused over a week of tweeted insults.

At this point I just like to sit back and read about all of this emotional/hysterical ranting from the left. It lightens me up after a stressful day of work.

You're an idiot.

Also, that's not what I said

I think the paper towel toss is getting a bit overblown, and would be considered cool if our last President had done it.

Look at the faces in the crowd and listen to the people. They loved it.

No man.

He smiled. What an ass hole. Doesn't he know they're suffering? Only a monster could smile and have some fun with people

Its this type of stuff that has the general public now not taking the left seriously. If anything is outrageous/racist than nothing is outrageous/racist.

Our last President wouldn't have done it

of course they loved -- they are either TikiTorchers or a paid for audience.

I may be out of touch here, but from all unbiased accounts, the relief effort both locally and the Feds has gone pretty well. The supplies needed are on the island, but PR poor infrastructure have made it a logistic nightmare to actually distribute that aid. There needs to be a long, hard conversation moving forward about spending the resources to reconstruct PR, not just restore.

Of course, that conversation doesn't get clicks, so let's all turn our attention to the buffoon who occasionally says things he shouldn't and struggles with empathy; and let's try for two weeks to catch him on camera. I'm sure doing that will show the world how much we care about what the PR citizens need.

Well, if they can go on TV in custom made propaganda tshirts, I don't know why they can't also wash their hair and iron their clothes.

The propaganda of "Help Us We're Dying"

Gotcha

Mayor fighting for her people - kinda like how Trump fights to uninsure kids or eliminate environmental regulation - or fights for White Supremacy
Certain you understand that !

Loved the one she wore that said "Nasty" and its message of unity and fighting for her people.

I don’t think 44 would have done it. He had 8 years to do it and didn’t. Nor have any of the other predecessors. Point me to where 44 walked into ground zero of humanitarian disasters and did things like this.

Nice whataboutism though.
