Not sure how reputable this article is, but it says that the Braves would have the first chance to claim Puig, we may put a claim on him, and could be willing to give up a mid level prospect for him.......

Then if we got him, there was someone who stated they wouldn't be surprised if we sent Markakis to the Cubs for Montero......

Again not sure how reputable this is, just thought i'd share it.

First of all, doubt that 12up.com is some go-to site for useful information. Second of all, after ESPN report, it was just a Twitter reply from some fat Braves fan hoodie geek. Sounds like something one of the On This Site All Day members here would put out though. ESPN is in the gossip business. So you have to question their motivations too.

If the Braves had any interest in Puig at all, they'd have already have gone through a thorough Q & A with Kemp about him.
