Oh my lord. I had been trying to message and text him for a long time and never got any response. Glad I was able to meet him last year and help him out around the house and buy him a beer. He was not in great physical or mental health.

He mentioned that to me. He definitely did not seem well physically or mentally last time we talked.

Great guy, a true gentleman. I went back and checked my PMs just now and the last time he and I communicated was on here back in late February. From what he said he had some sort of liver disease, possibly Cirrhosis which he said was hereditary. I was encouraging him to go and see specialists. Not sure if he did or not. I can't believe it has been so long. I guess time flies even in a ****ty year. This news just make it seem ****tier, which I would have argued a few days ago wasn't possible. Ironically my wife has Cirrhosis too, had it since she was in her early 20s if not sooner.

I haven't felt this bad on here since Mr. Who passed a few years back. Even having cancer doesn't compare to how bad losing a great guy like AA or Mr. Who. Not even close.

RIP my friend, a real friend no matter what.

Sad to see. He truly was a character around these parts.

Hope his family is okay. If anyone knows of anyway to help the family out, please DM me.

Dang, he seemed like a nice guy and usually had a great sense of humor. I may mainly lurk here, but over the last 10 years between here and scout, everyone here has been a Braves family. Hate to see anyone here go no matter the reason. Thanks to Derrick and all of you for the community we have here. Rest in Peace AA.

Sad to hear. I liked busting his chops and we didn't agree on a lot of things but we still had many great conversations over the years. I enjoyed his take on life, because he had an honest and interesting take on life that I enjoyed hearing.
