Race

Anyone denying the obvious problem doesn't like to deal in reality.

Majority of crime, and most importantly violent crime, are committed by a small subset of the population. Until someone addresses that it won't ever stop.

We need more prisons and we need harsher penalties.

Harvest : Integrating Mississippi's Schools, a college roommate of mine was in this class of '82 at Leland.

Woah there was racism in 1982?

Shocking!

How about in 2023? Do you agree with the current efforts to segregate races?

What are you even talking about? A little more clarity would elevate your discourse greatly.

If you watched the wonderful documentary, you'd know that several who were interviewed mentioned that 2023 felt every bit as segregated as the mid 60s. All the white people have run away.

The true heroes of that story are very obvious and are only going to be more and more obvious as time goes on.

Btw, since it's clear you don't know the story. The documentary was about the first class of public school students in Leland to be integrated from the 1st grade on. It followed their stories and remembrances since that 1st year in 1970. They had no idea at the time how historic their school life would be and encountered little to no racism at school among their fellow students and teachers. The racism was systemic and resided in white adults in power who were trying to maintain segregation.

One eye-popping fact, the black teachers, most of whom had had to travel to other states for their university degrees and education because MS preferred to give them good scholarship money rather than educate them at MS universities, were actually more qualified and better teachers than the local white teachers. Interesting.

This was cut and dry from the beginning. Floyd was a POS who has high as a kite and died because of the drugs and his insistence on not cooperating.

And because of the color revolution launched with Floyd being the launching pad the world is a mess today.

Special shout out to idiots like BL and Cajun who couldn’t see what was obvious from the beginning. Kind of a recurring theme.

eh...Derek Chauvin wanted to plead guilty and tried to negotiate a deal in his state case. He also pleaded guilty in the federal case.

I guess Derek Chauvin must have been duped watching and reading the mainstream media. Shows you how bad it can get. Poor guy. The media convinced him he was guilty.

It’s a shame innocent people have to plead guilty to ensure they don’t get thrown in jail for 20+ years for a crime they didn’t commit. Of course this is because the country is littered with idiots like you who don’t know how to think like an adult.

Just because someone wants to plead guilty doesn't mean he's guilty. If you saw what was going on in the media he had no chance. There were no life threatening injuries on Floyd just like there is nothing illegal about using alternate electors but we have the left that is ****ing up the justice system in this country. Enjoy your lawfare.

There is nothing wrong with alternate electors if there is still a path to victory via recount or court case. There is everything wrong with trying to pass off alternate electors as the real electors even after you lose every court case and recount. They were still trying to pass off these fake electors as the real ones as of January 6th. If the alternate electors stuff ended when they lost the court cases and recount there would be no charges for anyone.

I do agree mostly about Chauvin. He was guilty of atbest involuntary manslaughter. I don't think his kneeling on his neck was what killed Floyd. What Chauvin was doing was meant to torture Floyd for non-compliance with getting in the vehicle who is still very wrong. I have no sympathy for Chauvin though. Hope he gets raped daily in prison.
