A high school girls’ basketball game in Yonkers was canceled this week when players on the home team shot antisemitic slurs at their Jewish opponents, who needed security guards to escort them off the court to safety.
The girls’ varsity teams from the Leffell School, a private Jewish school in Hartsdale, and Roosevelt High School, a public school in Yonkers, faced off in the non-league game Thursday evening.
“I support Hamas, you f–king Jew,” a Roosevelt player snarled at a Leffell opponent, according to the New York City Public Schools Alliance, a group of parents and teachers fighting antisemitism.
From the outset, there was hostility and aggression with “substantially more jabs and comments thrown at the players on our team than what I have experienced in the past,” senior player Robin Bosworth wrote in an op-ed for Leffell’s student-run newspaper, the Lion’s Roar.
At the end of the third quarter, her teammates were getting injured by the rough play, and “players on the opposing team started shouting ‘Free Palestine’ and other antisemitic slurs and curses at us,” wrote Bosworth, also editor-in-chief of the school paper.

I don't feel like we settled is Wal Mart racist for needing ID on grocery pickup issue. It doesn't seem like the libs wanna own that one. I need to know if it needs a heavy handed protest or not.

Tell you what, show me in the constitution where it says people are guaranteed the right to use walmart pickup groceries. I have answered the question about 5 times now. If your side offered protections to ensure your side cant play games with people getting IDs the left might actually be open to it.

I have a 1st amendment right to say racist things. That doesn't make them not racist

For the 101st time, Republicans are well known for cheating in elections by making it harder for people that dont vote for them to vote. Like taking voting centers out of college campuses because college kids vote for Democrats. You can show me no proof of any mass election fraud because ID wasnt required. If it was that easy Republicans would be doing it in mass. These are the same people who fought abortion being legal by limiting the amount of places to get abortions and making arbitrary rules to shut them down since they couldent just outright criminalize them.

The intent by Republicans for voter ID is simply to reduce the amount of black people voting. How does that work you ask? Take a state like Georgia with that has a red state legislature and an area with a large amount of black people. If we require ID all of a sudden they want to reduce the amount of DMVs in Fulton County for "budget reasons". Maybe they limit the hours you can get your ID there from noon-4 Monday thru Wednsday 6 months before the election. Maybe DMVs in Fulton County get shut down for some "construction" 6 months before the election. Just a coincidence. So like I said, if your side would simply guarantee there would be no shenanigans like that by writing it into the law requiring the IDs it wouldnt be seen as the blatant attempt to suppress voting that it is.

Between you and me I see wanting more people to vote as not being quite the same amount of shady as deliberately trying to suppress voting. If your side needs to suppress votes to win then maybe you arent as popular as you think you are.
