3 killed and 8 injured in a mass shooting after a homecoming game in Mississippi

And from the article

One man was killed and another nine injured in a shooting near Tennessee State University in Nashville on October 12 after that school’s homecoming celebration, though police said it was “kind of a sidebar” celebration and not a reflection on the university.

In case anybody is wondering, someone from the FBI doing the standard “we don’t know the motivation yet” line does not actually imply they’re a DEI hire. There’s not a chance in hell anybody on the right crying about DEI know this agent’s background or qualifications. And yes, assuming a black woman you know nothing about is a DEI hire for doing normal FBI overly cautious hedging is racism, as is assuming the mayor of New Orleans is a DEI hire without knowing anything about her.

No one is. Stop reading the fringe and decrying it as the center

It’s not true that nobody is doing this. Did I declare everyone on the right a racist? No, I called the people who woke up and decided to call the black women they know nothing about DEI hires racists. Not everything someone says is meant to be broadened to a larger group.

Though I will concede I perhaps unfairly mentioned these particular racists were on the political right. They absolutely are, but that doesn’t mean it’s the whole right.

It’s sensationalism.

Some accounts draw clicks by headlines

Those aren’t the actual voters or movement by in large

Y’all just need to relax on media for a bit. Everyone’s putting out sensational headlines to grab readers in the early hours of a Trump presidency, and all have their motives for putting out what they do. I’d just relax for a bit and wait for actual action and not third party hearsay.

But why is being accused of being a DEI hire insulting?

No, I think that calling out that an account with 1 million followers that has positioned itself as the real news the MSM is afraid to tell you is engaging in racism is worth calling out. There will be plenty of wrong things reported about this attack on both sides, and you’re right to advocate for patience on the reporting. But when one “news outlet” chooses to lead with unnecessary racism, it’s not jumping the gun to point that out.

Ok cool. Rile yourself up about it after all that’s the real tragedy here. Lol

I don’t blame you for finding more fault in a random Twitter account suggesting she’s inept vs self reflecting on the why the event happened in the first place

Also didn't she specifically say "this is not a terrorist event"

The FBI (and law enforcement generally) always slow-walk terror attacks in the early stages. Right or wrong, it’s certainly not her race or gender causing this response.
