Last I checked 28 people dead in the protests.

RICHMOND, Va. – Riots in downtown Richmond over the weekend were instigated by white supremacists under the guise of Black Lives Matter, according to law enforcement officials.

Protesters tore down police tape and pushed forward toward Richmond police headquarters, where they set a city dump truck on fire.

Police declared the event an “unlawful assembly” and ordered people to leave, later deploying tear gas.

Six people were arrested. The mayor of Richmond thanked the Black Lives Matter protesters he said tried to stop the white supremacists from spearheading the violence.

“Their mission is simple, not the Richmond we know,” said Mayor Levar Stoney.

Now lets apply little thethe's logic to this. Now that we have some evidence tht this happened somewhere this is proof that ALL of the violence is instigated by neo nazis pretending to be BLM.

I would add to that that the people of the time who tried to fight/help those enslaved black people were also treated badly. To me those who could have just ignored it because it wasnt negatively affecting them but chose to speak and act out knowing it would make them a public pariah and subject to lynchings and being murdered are the heros of the time we need to honor. Its one thing to fight for whats right and be treated like a hero, but its tragic that the people who gave their life fighting for what was right were treated like pariahs at their time and are largely forgotten in modern history. Lincoln gets the rep they deserve. Lincoln was not any lover or defender of freedom or black people.

I support equality for all. Unfortunately, you do not.

Meanwhile black lives and black businesses are being destroyed while making this point that nobody disagrees with
