Hardly a meme. A meme is you and sturg who post the same things over and over again to the point where it's virtually predictable. I'm a human who grew up a little bit different from most. It gave me a different perspective and shaped me into who I am today. Even though you grew up in New York, how many non-white friends did you have?

You can’t even imagine how many I have. I think most were poor because that’s what blacks people are for the most part. I’m sure they were dumb too.

I'm hardly an elitist. I think I've made it clear I grew up in a very much working class neighborhood in south jersey. I've worked side by side with people who grew up in Trenton. Like I mean I know the **** I've seen adn been through. I would hardly call myself any form of elitist. I live where I live because it's my girlfriend's family's ancestral home, where they've lived since like 1850 or some **** like that. It's very white because there is not a ton of opportunity up here. So the original settlers tended to be the main occupants. We're lucky enough to have a small minority community whic hI've done my part in bolstering. I could go into that but it would be silly of myself. I know where I live, I know where I came from. There aren't many people here who I feel like could say they know to the point of breaking bread with members of the Bloods.

Well are they abolishing or are they reworking?

I know my privilege. Cops around me are mostly nice because they know everyone. It's not the same in cities. To me the best option which isn't being talked about enough is finding a way to make an easy pathway for people in the city to become cops for said city. Of course other issues could show up (corruption, etc.) but I think being part of the community changes the way things work.

If we look at Derek Chauvin, he's a suburb guy who moved into the city to work. He didn't have that tie to the city. Sure he could have developed that later, but it isn't the same as someone who grew up int he city becoming a cop.

Most death threats are... just that.

But then again I also support her owning a weapon if she so chooses. Most do not. I imagine her security detail has one.
