If the FBI mainly arrests right-wing extremists, it tells me that's where the extreme terroristic activity is emanating from. I've been trying to explain this to y'all. Now maybe you'all will believe me.
I might add that in contrast to the abundance of empirical evidence of racism in policing, the data show the FBI to be mainly populated by a bunch of conservative Republican white dudes who would take much more pleasure in cracking some lefty heads than hassling their friends on the right.

The report found that white supremacist extremists are responsible for the majority of domestic terrorist incidents in the United States, and that they are increasingly likely to engage in violence.

in the highly unlikely event that conservative law-abiding parents are being targeted for exercising their first amendment rights at school board meetings, consider it an opportunity for developing some emphathy for other ethnic groups who have suffered much worse at the hands of law enforcement
meanwhile how about em white supremacists who account for most of the politically motivated violence in this country...a good thing not all white conservatives are being racially profiled as such

see i have no trouble saying that blacks account for a disproportionate amount of violence
however, i also do not infer from that that stereotyping and racial profiling have a place in policing and society generally...because most blacks are law abiding and it would a great injustice to assume otherwise
similarly i don't stereotype white people for being white supremacists
i do think it is important to note that white supremacy is an ideology that people choose...when there is an act of political violence based upon it the media has a responsibility to highlight that fact because ideology is something that people choose...it doesn't say anything about white people just something about people who hold that ideology...the fact that this ideology has animated so much violence for so much of this country's history is an important fact that our school children should learn about in school...even at the risk of making some uncomfortable

Yes! And guess what? Secession from the union and fighting for the preservation of slavery was politically motivated. As was fighting for the preservation of the union. Both were politically motivated!

sure the massacre of the people at the synagogue in pittsburgh was carried out by someone who acted on the basis of white supremacist ideology. Dylann Roof had a similar ideological motivation.

Your best two examples were from 8 years ago and 5 years respectively. Combined, they dont stack up to a more recent event (that the left cheered on). I'm told this is the biggest threat America faces, but the evidence doesn't hold up
