Coincidentally enough nsacpi was one of the few posters who shared my views on Gattis. Don't agree with the guy over here but he knows his baseball as much as anyone.

Nothing in that article to suggest it wasn't about grass clippings. The fact that he attacked Paul while he was mowing his lawn does support the idea that he became enraged while Paul was doing something with his mower near the property line.

Vehement denials from people who didn't see anything. Maybe Boucher is just a little nuts. Let's just be glad he didn't have a room full of automatic weapons.

anyhow although grass clippings might not be the entirety of the story, I still don't see anything to support your view that this is somehow an instance of politically motivated proto-antifa left-wing violence

There is still more to be told of this story but the fact that it was quickly released it was due to gardening etiquette should make anyone take pause at the motives

well i agree anyone should pause before ascribing motives quickly in any situation...you might want to review this thread to see who was the first to do so...hint: take a look at post #2...post #7 might also have some bearing on the issue of hasty assumptions about motives

I believe the sources of news that were reporting on that incident. Far more accurate this far than the grass clippings explanation IMO.
 
I hope he gets well. Honestly I think most incidents on both sides can be attributed to a perpetrator with a screw loose but it may be true that the over dramatization in both sides might encourage these types of people.

As to the real reason this happened. I have no idea. Liberal, conservative, or angry gardener you have to be off your rocker to go off like that.
