REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Detroit came ready to go. Purdy is gonna have to win this game, and SF's D is gonna have to get a turnover.

I don’t see how this defense does enough to even allow a miracle second half comeback. What a letdown.

This is where coaches make their money. 28-3 happened because of miserable coaching getting smacked by great coaching. Time for your coahces to see if they are worth it.

Most games are won in the trenches and the lions are bitch slapping the Niners there.

To be such an amazingly talented QB, Lamar Jackson sure can look very mediocre. I mean you watch him in the first TD drive, and you think "Man, the Chiefs just can't stop Lamar even when they do everything right. This is gonna be a shootout."

Then he proceeds to throw behind receivers, over throw receivers, take bad sacks, and throw bubble screen passes right into the first. And then you think "This is the guy that's gonna win his 2nd MVP this year?"

Lamar did enough to win. Flowers fumble cost them the game. As well as the pick in the endzone.

I think the Stafford for Goff + Picks trade will shake out as the greatest win-win in NFL history. LA Got their Super Bowl, Lions got closer to competing again.

Stafford for Goff, Jameson Williams, Gibbs, LaPorta, Paschal, Martin, Melifonou. That's a lot of value. Granted Gibbs didn't break in as the number 1 starter, but they got 54 starts from one trade, that's hella valuable.

It's crazy man. Goff was seen as a throw in and has been as good, maybe better than stagford since the trade.

He's done what Stafford never came close to here.

Stafford got the title and I'm happy for him bc he's a great dude, but he also got extremely lucky with a dropped pick against the bucs at end of divisional round that would have changed the whole narrative.

That trade was the start of burying our deacons.

And also Dan Campbell is basically the greatest
