REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Also, don't underestimate the Jets. If they stop letting Smith throw the ball they are tough because their defense is ridiculous. They will be in Ryans face all day.

You think the Falcons are going to win 7 of their next 8 games?

Won't be easy but it's certainly doable. Not beating Mia or NE made their schedule tighter. Falcons have to TCOB in the division this year and I think they can beat Tampa and Carolina twice, they'll have to this year since they dont' have the cake out of division schedule they did last year when they got the NFC East and AFC West.

TB is a cake walk. Not sure how easy Carolina is going to be and NO is going to give you all you can handle. I could see the Falcons easily losing 4 more games this year. Not sure you get in at 9-7 because I think the two wildcard winners will have 10 wins.

ENJOY GIVING MELT ALL THE MONEY AND NO PLAYOFFS HAHAHAHAHAHAH

You're hysterical. They didn't really have an option. And Ryan hasn't been bad by any means this year. Falcons just focus too much on getting too many weapons. The team is not well rounded.

On paper that's true but Seattle is getting more healthy and get Irvin back.

But Seattle is much different on the road.l

They could lose 4 more, very possible. They could lose only one or 2 more. Lots of wiggle room. Personally I think that the games with GB and SF will be awesome later in the year. Falcons are still getting used to their new offense. Jackson going down hurt a ton. They need 2 things the first is to set the right side of their OL the second is to get Jackson warmed up. IF the Falcons are relatively healthy in those last 4 weeks, they'll push the Packers and Niners as hard as possible.

Remember when Zito said Sean Payton wouldn't make much difference to NO, good times.

New Orleans has had a relatively easy schedule to start the season. They have tough opponents in Miami and Atlanta but get them at home. If they win at Chicago or at New England I'll give them props that Peyton made a big difference.

Any team can say if they are relatively healthy they will be good.

If the 49ers are healthy by that time you are adding Crabtree/Manningham/Aldon to a team that is already a top 5 team. Falcons really hurt themselves by losing to Miami. That was a big time blow. I don't see how they get to 10 wins now. I mean, they are a damn good team but its hard for finesse teams to win games against physical teams on the road.

He already made a huge difference. Not sure how that point can be debated. I know you disagreed with me but I thought Atlanta needed to win that week 1 game. It gave the Saints their swagger back and they will run away with the division.

Roddy is going to be 32 in a month, I would say he has seen his best days.

I don't disagree but for receivers, ankle injuries are bad, he can't separate right now.

Even still, guys like Andre, Wayne, among others his age are still producing.
