A TE that runs a 4.38 can be at 50% and still dominate. If he is good to play, then there shouldn't be excuses. If he really is THAT hurt, maybe he shouldn't be playing.

They need him out there as a decoy at least. And yes, he can still perform at less than 100% which is what he is doing but its not like they have a 100% Davis out there.

This upcoming stretch of the schedule can be a good time to get him healthy. Got some gimme's in there. Looking back, that loss to the Colts isn't anything to be upset about. They have come on strong.

Do you realize that Davis is playing at like 50%?

He looked like it went he took a crossing route and made Ed Reed look like he was running in sand. If thats 50%, he's the fastest player in NFL History.

I hold the team to a high standards. They needed to beat the Colts but without Davis that was going to be tough. No reason the 49ers shouldn't be 6-2 going into their bye. Then guys are coming back. Manningham coming back is going to be huge and Baldwin seems to becoming more of a factor. Then when Crabtree comes back I expect the offense to be extremely explosive.

It still might, HFA is huge.

Every game matters.

Seattle winning the division by a game could be because of that.

SF's toughest games are at home, while the toughest road game is at NO.

Most teams would be able to withstand the loss their best player 1 hour before game time - not having prepped without him all week. Oh, and most teams would be able to handle that loss in addition to losing the number 2 WR. Oh and most teams would be able to do it on the road against one of the best teams in the game.

Having said all that - Stafford certainly didn't play BAD without his 2 wide receivers. Though I certainly wouldn't say he played good either. If he had a week of preparation I would imagine his would perform much better.

Oh well. I guess he just sucks!

Bears DT Nate Collins out for the year with a torn ACL - 2nd DT (Melton) to go down with that injury in the last couple weeks. Bears need help in the middle or the season is going to slip away quickly

Wow, what a missed opportunity for the Jets. Ryan made a horrible read.

Passing it on a punt block? WTF?

This MNF game looks like it's going to be a wild one if the first 7 minutes are any indication.
