Yeah, it was a huge mistake playing him last year in the playoffs and another mistake playing him this year. If the Redskins were smart he would sit for the rest of the season.

The Bucs title is really helping out the Bucs today......worst team in football the last few years? Thats ok, you can just jump ship, you have no affiliation with any of your sports teams just who was winning at the time. Atlanta, NY, TB, Louisville, who did I miss?
 
You can't jump ship once you pick your team. It doesn't matter if they play 10 miles of a 1000 miles from you.
 
Right. Your team is your team. I hate band wagoners. UGA has the most ive ever seen. Band wagoners piss me off and are basically the worst fan there is.

You have an affiliation with a team because you live close to them? I could understand that 50 years ago but in the modern age (Last 15-20 years) that doesn't really apply anymore.

I hate to agree with you but that's exactly spot on. Plus for some people who moved around a lot when they were younger (like myself) you aren't living somewhere long enough to become a fan of the local team. I always saw Brett Favre on tv and that's who I liked. Same goes for watching the Braves. Was I supposed to not become a sports fan just because I wasn't able to pick a local team?

Cute that you are going this route....haven't I already explained this multiple times?

Braves - First game I ever went to, was a Brave game + TBS

Knicks - I live in the NorthEast + Always like Charlie Ward at FSU and was drafted by Knicks

Bucs - Warrick Dunn was my favorite player when he was at FSU when I was a kid and I followed him to TB

Louisville - Denny used to coach basketball camps with my grandfather and I met him several times when I was kid and always followed them for that reason.

Louisville was horrible for 90% of my life, so how would that make me a front runner? Same for the Bucs and Knicks......explain this one to me, please. This should be good

I just find it odd that GF thinks that he is a better fan because his team plays closer to his house.

Yeah, I always hated that mindset.
It's nice to be able to go to games, but i go to 4-5 Braves/Phillies games a year when the Braves are in town. I've never been to Dallas for a game, but I've been to a Cowboys/Eagles game. I can discuss my teams with fans online rather than my friends, so that is irrelevant.
