NFL has a stupid problem way more than a gun, drug or alcohol problem. That said, the commercial is a charged political commercial, which means i don't care for it, but if you're gonna air BS like that Tim Tebow abortion commercial, then why not let another politcal commercial run? Obviously it's not just about beer, food, and cars.

Cant make judgements off one game but hard to see anyone going into Seattle and winning....

They are getting HFA in the NFC. Only teams that have a chance got their **** pushed in by the Seahawks in Seattle. Carolina may be the only hope at this point.

I'm slob knobbing my saying he looked better?

Did I say he was great yesterday?

Oh and the great Andrew Luck threw 3 picks against them two weeks ago.

Andrew Luck doesn't have the O-Line Kaep has and also throws it much more than Kaep.

Tapate, what do you think the odds of Bartu or Worrilow replacing Dent long term are? He's clearly been our best linebacker while Dent has far and away been our worst.

I have liked them since the first game they played. I mean at this point they are playing just a touch slow because of inexperience, but I like the possibilities moving forward. Dent was a huge mistake when we drafted him. I mean, in a passing league lets take a one dimensional LB that isn't even good at that dimension (run suppoert) ???? It was an awful pick really. He continues to get outplayed by TWO "small school" UDFA's.

Bartu's highlight reel from TX St. reveals incredible play diagnosis skills. I mean simply awesome reactions and perfect fits. That is part of the game that lots of LBs don't have. Bartu has been pretty solid in coverage.

Worrilow has been a tackling machine of late. His workout numbers were crazy. I have seen less tape on him though, but if he can keep it up I don't see why he isn't a starting OLB\MLB for us. Really, all three of Spoon \ Bartu \Worrilow can all play all three in Nolans Amoeba D. Hopefully that helps us disguise coverage and move folks around. Hell, I saw Massoquoi drop into deep third coverage (like Beirman has done before him) against Buffalo.

IMO, both are landslides more athletic and quicker than Dent who is your classic stand there and take a thump tackler 4 yards up field.

Trufant has played well, and Alford played a lot vs Buffalo and had a good game. Alford is a gambler though, and his athleticism is going to play in the league though. He will make some HUGE plays, but get roasted a bit as well. Not a bad tandem to have going forward. The poor play in our secondary has been from our recently re-signed safeties. Moore hasn't been good, and neither has DeCoud.

It is hard to play CB opening day for rookies and Trufant and Alford have both held their own. Dj Hayden (who I was a fan of but the near on field death thing had most GMs frightened to well...) and Dee Milliner were pretty awful. Dee Milliner has been benched like 4 or 5 times for a guy the Falcons cut named Darren Walls.

I see Alford as a long term replacement for Samuel and Trufant as the cover guy. If I have to look at a comparison it was like when the Eagles had Sheppard and Brown. Sheppard was the gambler who jumped routes and got turnovers. Brown was more of the shutdown type who you stuck no their one and took them out fo the game. i can only hope Trufant can tackle as well as Brown did.

Our DL play was way off. that's where our secondary issues come from. Barr or Clowney will massively improve our line and having a rotation of one of them, Osi and Biermann depending on down and distance will go a long way.

I think the ideal draft is DE first OG/OT second, and DT 3rd.

Could aslo be OK with a WR or safety slipping to the 3rd. First 2 rounds we need someone on each line, 3rd round you take BPA that isn't a QB. Some guys in 80-100 range of prospects I like include Christian Jones ILB from FSU, Tyler Lawson C Utah State, Dominique Easley DT Florida, James Hurst OT UNC, Brandon Coleman WR Rutgers, C.J. Fiedorowicz TE Iowa Telvin Smith OLB FSU, Kelvin Benjamin WR FSU, Carl Bradford OLB ASU, there's also a few RBs I wouldn't be opposed to drafting but I'd rather get on OL, WR, S, or DL with that pick since we're picking so high the 3rd round pick is still a guy who could impact in the NFL rookie season.

49ers have a great run blocking line. Their pass blocking ability is greatly overstated.

These days their pass blocking is better than their run blocking. When was the last time Gore got a hand off without already having defenders in the backfield after him? Niner fans blame injuries and other teams stacking the box but all of our RB's have been shut down in nearly every game this year whether the box is stacked and whether we're healthy or not.
