I have no clue. He should appeal. If they had a money trail on him, they'd have suspended him for a lot longer than 30 minutes. They can't have anything on him if he's only being suspended for a half a game, so...appeal, Johnny.

Why would he want to shake the trees? Laugh off the 30 mins and get on with things.

Why would he want to sign autographs for money when he and his family have plenty of it? Because he can, goddammit.
I say appeal. There's no money trail. What's he getting suspended for?

If they had anything to suspend him for legit time with, they would have done it. They don't. So, appeal.

I don't think you understand how the NCAA works. It's a bunch of hypocritical assholes. They may have him video of him smiling accepting money and they may look the other way. (see Oregon, UNC)

Lions are going to have a big year IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if they got to 10 wins. I could see Bush having a 1800+ all purpose yard year.

Yeah not going to happen, unless you're including punt return yardage or something. Lions don't run the ball. They throw 4_ times per game.

He should get a bunch of receiving yards and you hope their OC will be smart and take the ball from Stafford's hands before he turns into Jay Cutler 2.0

The ruling is he did break a bylaw, though a very minor bylaw. Basically it says that athletes are required to take steps to prevent their name or likeness from being used in any commercial way. By signing 1000's of memorabilia for various sports brokers, he obviously didn't do that.

It's a BS ruling and he "should" be suspended for the yr, imoe. But there's no physical evidence (to our knowledge) showing he got paid, which is what matters.

Depends on how he's used I guess. Lions pass the more than the Saints did when he was there and he cracked 1200 yards exactly once. yes he was constantly injured, but that will happen to a RB who's built more like a WR

Don't you think the Lions pass the ball so much in part becuase they have no consistency out of the RB position? Sure, its a passing league but if you have a good RB you are going to try and run the ball as well.

I'm not confident Bush gives them RB stability.

Lions offense is centered around passing the ball 40 times a game. Reggie friggin Bush isn't going to change that.
