Fact if the 49ers changed OC they make the playoffs. Fact Harbaugh tried to make Kaepernick a pocket passer and failed miserably. Fact the 49ers didn't win one super bowl with a very skilled team.

Oh and for all the credit people are spewing towards Harbaugh...their offense was garbage under him for four seasons. The constant was the defense being great. Vic Fangio deserves the credit.

Not a shocker. While I don't think his record would be a coach who should be fired. His playcalling that cost thme the playoffs is a reason to be fired. I like Smith as a guy, but he left a lot to be desired as a head coach from the strategy point, more of a players manager if you would.

I would have canned both personally, but it seems like Blank trusts Dimitroff enough to give him a little longer. In his defense, he only had 1 draft before last year where the Falcons picked high. It's not easy to build competitive teams year in and year out from the deraft without a few clankers to add some star power. Don't know how the Pats do it. Belichek may be the greatest coach of all time with what he's done with that team.

Having a Top 5 QB all-time does that.
And prior to the last 3-4 years, they've whiffed alot in the draft.
