I can see picking Dallas way back when... If you didn't have one the. "Americas Team" was a logical choice

I was 4 when they last won a super bowl, i don't have any memories of them being a dominant team.

for the majority of my legit fanhood life they've been average to bad.

No way we could/should have. $26M + the $10M in dead money was just too much

Puts all the pressure on Detroit to sign him before FA then... Keeping Fairley at a MUCH more affordable rate might be the best course.

Have to wonder what Suh would get on the open market.

There are 3 teams that have oodles of cap room that have strong interest. Jax, Oak, and Tampa.

I bet Suh gets a bigger deal than Watt.

Suh will probably get the biggest deal. You can't trust Fairley; no way you pay him.

Yeah he probably will since he will actually test the market. Watt had a year left before he signed his mega deal.

Would love the Falcons to target Ravens DE\OLB McPhee in FA....he may break the bank, but the guy is productive from a LOT of positions. His versatility is key for our defense I'd imagine... Then draft another DE in the first and we have come a long way in a short time on the pass rush front.

A lot of reports coming out of Atlanta and also out of Washington that the Falcons are going hard after Orakpo.

Would be interesting, but he's the Weatherspoon of pass rushers. You take a huge risk that he will actually be on the field.

I would be more willing to spend bigger on McPhee. He can do it from the inside and outside standing up or hand on the ground. Younger and more healthy...

I don't see investing a lot in Orakpo. He just can't stay healthy. For some reason, I feel like that "news" was agent driven.

Orakpo would be a huge addition if he can stay on the field. He can do it all at the linebacker position. Very underated pass rusher. People are underwhelmed with his sack numbers, but don't account for his limited pass rushing attempts.

Falcons expected to pursue Niles Paul. Would like that move, would make a great #2, but a fair starting TE. Wouldn't mind having two guys with starter ability in there to open up the outside.

WTF, you guys want to be the Redskins?

I like Paul just because of his story. Was drafted as a late round WR, but couldn't cut it at WR so carved himself a role as 3rd string TE/special teams player. He is ok as a receiving TE, but shouldn't be considered by anybody a starting caliber TE. His hands are pretty unreliable and he cannot block.....a lick.

Nobody wants to be the Redskins.

He would be fine in a backup dual TE role. Zone blocking scheme is gonna help his "blocking" a bit, but I wouldn't think he would be asked to much. Supposedly a great guy... and tough.

He's played in the zone blocking scheme.
