What about 2012 or 2014?

Also, McCoy benefits because the Eagles have the best run blocking offensive line in the NFL.

That does help. McCoy though certainly has skills. If you watch him play you can tell he's a smart runner aside from his obvious athletic skill. He's no freak like AP. But he was dinged up in 12, and still pretty damned good in 13. What baffles me about last year is why Kelly stopped throwing to him. Maybe it was a number of things, but he went from averaging like 30 yards per game receiving to 10.

He will be either out of the league or have a much lesser role within 2-3 years. Very few RBs are successful past 28 and he has more wear and tear at 26/27 than most. A running backs peak is 26.

Totally agreed, he was a terror out of the backfield in 2013. They completely stopped using him in the pass game. Maybe it had to do with the QBs, too. Foles came back down to earth and Sanchez was slightly better than the Sanchize of old.

I hope to god the Eagles sign a bunch of FAs and mortgage their future for Mariota. When has that approach worked?

Hate fans calling out players for chasing money. Their career could be over in a second, lots of hands in that pot, they should all get as much as they possibly can.

Peters, Mathis, Kelce, Maclin, or Cox.

Lmao!!!

Maclin is the only one on that list you could argue, and he has 1 great year. Other than 2012 when he was injured, McCoy has been a top 5 RB basically every year since 2010.

May be Kelly thinks he can plug in any RB and get the same production. But thats a huge gamble.

It isn't a huge gamble. Pretty good gamble actually plus the 10m.

I'd say Peters is their best player.

I hoping Docket has another solid year or two in him. The defense is shaping up to be studly next year. Just need to unleash Kap and stop trying to put him in a traditional offense.

Darnell Docket would have been awesome four years ago. Now it's an alright signing. If Justin Smith can play this season out, I like our front 7 if healthy.

2012 and 2014. What age did your boy Chris Johnson fall off a cliff at?

You obviously didn't pay any attention to McCoy aside from Fantasy football. McCoy was still a top 5 back easily in 2014. Finished 2nd in rushing yards.

And what age did AP, Lynch, Forte, fall off a cliff? Oh wait a minute....

That's odd bc the only way McCoy was a top back was in fantasy because he had the 2nd most carries in the NFL.

Peterson had his worst year of his career at age 28.

Lynch just completed his age 28 season.

Forte has held up better than most but still has one of, if not his worst year at age 29.

What age was I jones Drew's last productive year?

That would be age 26 and he is now retired at 29 after 3 bad years.
