If Ten wants to move it for picks, thats a pretty tempting offer. But you're also probably not even gonna get Graham, Tet, Hunter or Carter. I'd try to get the Giants and you basically have your pick of the choosing. Thats depending if teams like NYG/NYJ, others love Ward or Sanders.

There's no way all those guys are gone at 7. Hunter and Carter are gone because they don't make it out of the top 4, but either Tet or Graham is probable to fall. That means either 1 of the top 2 QBs didn't go (not likely) or no one took an OT also not likely. Or one of the edges, or WIll Johnson. There's also a chance someone takes Jeanty and hope he comes in as a BIjon level talent but none of the teams picking that high I see doing that Maybe the Jags, but they're taking the BPA lineman.

I'd also like to see Trevor Lawrence get traded to a franchise that actually knows what they are doing.

WIth a 13M cap hit this year, I wonder what that trade looks like. Obviously the big advantage is getting out of a ton of money, 13M now or 133M guaranteed. That frees up a ton of long term money, but that IMO is signing a franchise death warrant. Like you're gonna suck next year.

That being said, yeah send him to Pittsburgh for like 2 or 3 ones, Steelers will never be bad enough to pick top 10 as long as Tomlin is there. He keeps their defense so good. With the right OC in Pittsburgh he could flourish into a star and be their next Big Ben without Roethlisberger's stupid good durability.

Surely teams don't envision Jeanty as a top 20 pick. While he has some receiving chops, he's not the athlete not was he the 3 down back Bijan or Saquon were coming out of college.

But the more I think about it, the more I feel like Giants are just gonna sign a QB like Darnold or Rodgers or trade for Stafford. With the state of the NFC East, I feel like they are under a lot pressure to win now, and not 2-3 years from now.

Ward is certainly NFL ready, and the last 3 years has proven that experienced college QBs can have a lot of early success in this era of NFL offenses. But I am just not sure Schoen and Daboll want to risk that with their jobs on the line in 2025.

I think they trade for Stafford, Daboll and Schoen have almost no rope left. Also it would be what the owner should advise. The worst thing is for a new GM to come in and have a franchise QB they wouldn't have selected.

Unless they use him as a game manager surrounded by offensive talent and elite defense, it wont matter.

He's shown plenty of signs of skill in the past. The Jags are just abysmal at giving him anything to work with. His OL is mid at best they finally have given him weapons with BTjr. But they should have kept Ridley but they ****ed that up being cheap with their pick instead of extending him let him walk via FA (they would have had to give the Flacons a 2nd instead of a 3rd if they extended him) which meant they got played by Ridley who signed with the Titans for more money. Imagine if Lawrence had Ridley and BTjr this year.

Anyway. Jags won't be trading him, they'll probably take an OL like Will Campbell assuming the first 4 picks are 2 QBs and Carter and Hunter. If by some chance 2 QBs don't go top 2 they'll probably not be in the best pick to help lawrence but should be able to get Graham who should be a beast and help their defense which was turrible.

That being said, boy there's a scenario where it's draft day, Sanders is there and someone like the Steelers says they'll trade 2 ones and some other picks for Lawrence that it would be hard not to do.

I know it's all wishing because the Falcons are picking 15th and dont' really have assets to trade up, Shemar Stewart looks like a Physical freak. He was near the top in every single thing today.

He's big 6'5 267 he ran a 4.59 40 with a 1.58 split. 40 inch verticle, 10'11 broad.

Pearce did well as well and won the 40 and 10 second split but got smoked on his vert and broad.

Collin Oliver tested really well but doesn't have the size or pedigree

I see this as a win-win. Niners get out of more money (though more of a cap hit this year) doing this, Commanders get a WR that will hopefully show up motivated.

This sets up the Niners better to extend Purdy which they need to do.

Yeah, I think Deebo has some mileage but isn't tied up long term. As long as he's not asked to be the 2nd WR and can be a gadget type player that basically replaces Eckler and Dyami Brown, Im ok with it. Still need another true 2nd WR.

For sure. I think he's your 3rd WR type now. Unless he shows up in his old shape which isn't super likely, he hasn't been a WR1 inyears and because of health you could argue he isn't WR2 anymore. Getting someone who can legit complement Terry is the number 1 policy. I don't know what that is becasue I'm not familiar enough with his game but for better comparison you need a Roddy/Sanu to compliment your Julio. You need a smith to compliment your Brown, you need a Higgins to compliment your Chase.

PFF's Mock draft is kind of insane.

They have Shemar Stewart jumping Walker (which it's the Panties taking him so who cares, but they have Walker going to the Saints which even worse than the Panties) they don't have Mykel Williams in the first.

And I dunno if this is a where there's smoke but they have the Falcons taking Mike Green, which they could but it seems dangerous as hell taking someone with SA allegations.

Deebo is not a number 1 type, but he's clearly good enough to be the second best WR option on a team, even if not used in a traditional sense. Our 2nd best WR last year was Olamade Zachacius.

Having said that, Id like to get another one through the draft and maybe re-sign Noah Brown. More importantly, they need to figure out TE.

But having a good QB solves everything

Samuel has been a shell of himself. Part of that is wear and tear and part of that is him being de-motivated.

We are about to find out which it was primarily.

Luckily this is a good year for Tight Ends, Like even second round TEs look decent.

Something like 7 of the top 100 prospects on many big boards are Tight Ends.

Commanders need other help but like grabbing someone like Egubka or Golden in the first and Fannin, Arroyo or Taylor in the second would revamp the team.

What a crazy offseason so far. Myles requests a trade, and then signs the biggest contract of a non-QB ever. Cardinals are for some reason shopping Kyler Murray. The whole QB room in the NFL could have a heavy shakeup.

Crazy start to FA with all the trades. Pitt with a great move getting DK. Now they gotta find a QB. But it looks like it will be Rodgers or Wilson.

I'm not sure what the Raiders are thinking giving up a 3rd rounder for an aging and mediocre Geno. Carroll is not starting out on the right foot there. They should have just signed Rodgers for 1 year and hoped that Sanders fell to them at 6.

I think Pete really likes Geno. I won't blame him for getting his guy. I don't think any QB is falling. This allows them to take Tet or Campbell or Membou or they could take Jeanty.

I think Cam goes 1 and Shadeur goes top 3 and Dart probably sneaks in there somewhere in the top 10. I honestly can see the Jets takign Dart and using fields as a stop gap.

I think Pittsburgh's mistake was not getting Darnold. I think he could have potentially solved their issues long term instead of continuing to bandaid with Rodgers who has like 1 or 2 years tops left in him or Russell Wilson who's proven to be quite mediocre outside of Seattle. Darnold may have failed, but if he hit he could be your guy for almost a decade.

One thing that's exciting righht now is multiple mocks have Will Johnson falling to the Falcons at 15. That could wind up being the steal of the draft. He's a guy who is considered a top 10 prospect for sure, but is falling because of teams needing to address other needs first, mainly the lines.

He'll be on the board and we'll draft a long snapper or something.
