Cutler, Cam, RGMe for sure. Then he's in the argument with Stafford, Big Ben, Luck, and Wilson. Maybe even Romo depending on how Romo's future goes.

Surpised with how much you love Luck, that you would even think Kap is comparable to him.

It appears he's the most overated player on this board; even by thethe standards.

Well you figure Peyton and Brady are gonna be done soon. Brees probably ahs like 4 years left. Meaning you have Rodgers, Luck, Ryan and then guys scrapping later. Maybe no good QBs come back.

Peyton and Brady have said they want to play for another 4-5 years, whether that happens....who knows. Romo is also better than Kap....it's just stupid....and I pimped Kap before anyone on this board when he was in college so I'm not just hating because it's thethe, I actually thought/think Kap will be a good NFL QB. He isn't a top 5 QB and I don't see how he will be better than guys like Brees/Romo/Cam/Luck/Ryan/Staff/Wilson etc. He's a good QB but he's not work 126 or close to it.

In 2012 he had Marshall and that's it. Jeffery was a rookie and was nothing yet. Earl Bennett was his other WR.

Cutler and Kap being equal isn't outrageous, but I'd certainly take Cutler. Give him the lead, play-action ability, etc. and I'd take him.

And Cutler had way better weapons last year. Congrats for proving my point.

I'd take Kaepernick 10 times out of 10. They're about equals as passers with probably a slight advantage to Kaepernick, then you realize one is a dual threat QB and it makes the choice much easier

In what ways is Cam a better quarterback?

They have similar passing stats, aside from Cam having way more picks, Cam also averages more yards per game for his career than Kap. Running, Cam is much better, more yards per game, way more TDs. Also, Cam is playing for a team with ZERO talent....Kap is playing on a LOADED team. Give me Cam all day over Kap. Not really a knock on Kap because Cam is super talented.

Cam > Kap

And Romo vs Kap isn't close....Romo is MUCH better.

Well no not right now. Romo is clearly better. But Romo had a pretty epic collapse and isn't young who knows what the future holds.

He's certainly better than Cam. Cam may be better down the line, who knows but right now it's not a contest between the 2.

Peyton

Brady

Rivers

Brees

Ryan

Wilson

Brady

Romo

Rodgers

Big Ben

Stafford

Luck

Cam

Cutler

RG3

How many guys on that list is he better than?

He's better than RG3, Cutler, Cam, Luck and Stafford for sure. Romo if you want to count choking in big games.

Luck and RG3 have a higher ceiling. Luck especially. But as of right now he's been better than both.

As for Cam and Cutler...in the words of the immortal Giles..."LOL".

Kap threw for under 200 yards in 60% of his games last year. ****ing 60%!

How is he top 10?

How is he Better than Newton or Luck? Cutler and stafford could be argued. Romo is much better.

How has Kap been better? Just look at the straight numbers THEN consider the "talent" Cam plays with and the talent Kap plays with.

Looking at the "straight" numbers

Kaepernick 59.8 Comp% 4.9 TD% 1.7 INT% 7.9 Y/A 6.78 NY/A

Cam'ron 59.8 Comp% 4.3 TD% 2.8 INT% 7.7 Y/A 6.58 NY/A

Each year their opponents defensive ranking

2013 - Kaepernick 3rd CaM 5th
2012 - Kaepernick 6th Cam 19th
2011 - Cam 22nd

Dyar/DVOA each year

Kaepernick

2013 791/16.6%
2012 555/25.8%

Cam
2013 421/1.7%
2012 422/2.0%
2011 404/0.8%

So yeah Cameron is clearly better.

It's not crazy to say Cam > Kap.

Cam has **** weapons, a **** OL, a good, not great defense.

SF is arguably the most talented team in the league with depth everywhere.

You could argue Kap anywhere from 7-12 or 13 or so.
