I expected it to be 5 or 6 games, but, hopefully this will get the message across to him that his BS needs to stop. Probably added a game or 3 as repercussions from going light on Rice and Goodell getting a ton of heat for that. At least it wasn't the full season and he is getting punished for his actions (unlike Rice). He will be back for the Seahawks games and the playoffs (which unless something drastic happens, the Niners will reach; but hey, it is football after all). At least they announced it prior to cuts taking place.

I'm hoping for 6-3. Split the games with Seattle and then run the rest of the table.

9 games?

Which is an odd number, suspensions are usually 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.

According to what I see Lynch has 1 DUI, 1 charge of hit and run. Aldon has 1 DUI on Alcohol, 1 DUI on Weed, possession of weed, and was charged with 3 felony counts of illegal possession of an assault weapon, but had them dropped.
 
Falcons final cuts have a few guys who made the roster as rookies.

Freeman, Hageman, Matthews, Shembo, Southward, Starr, and Stone. Shocked Smallwood didn't make it, I liked him as a pick, guess he didn't impress enough. I'm hoping they pick him up for the practice squad. Also shocked they don't have more OLs. Only 9 on the active roster.

I also don't get why they're carrying 4 HBs.

What do you think of Hester being lined up in the slot? I think that actually will work out well for you guys. He hasn't had a QB as good as Ryan to work with yet.

Hester and Douglas should make for some interesting things. I hope we have lots of 4 WR sets. Hester and Douglas set up the Falcons for some interesting advantages. And given Julio's pure burning speed I think Roddy will wind up in some outstanding mismatches. Also should help the running game too. If you see a 4 WR set with 3 guys who're faster than most WRs, you're gonna put at least 3 corners on the field with the improved OL (even without Baker) you'll see lots of chances for Jackson to be one on one with the secondary. I would like to see lots of stretch plays.

I doubt any of them will really care.

Plus odds are he'll get picked up by someone. Rams have a super talented defense. Some team with a terrible defense (Dallas) probably could use him.

Rams have the best DL in the league, he'll get picked up.

Dallas, or even Atlanta would be good spots.
 
Wouldn't mind the Falcons picking him up as an extra pass rusher. I hope the coverage of him being cut isn't overblown, but it probably will be.

Hester has looked really good with Ryan. Meh still has explosive ability, although it is waning a bit.

Might be a testament to how top heavy our roster is but our 2014 draft looks like a good one. Lot of rookies will get major PT. Matthews, Hageman, Southward, Shembo

Carrying 4 HBs because they don't want to let Smith go on waivers, dude can be explosive.
