REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Looks like the Andre Ellington bandwagon may be off the rails before it ever got started. MRI on foot, and it isn't sounding good. Fire up those ARZ Wideouts!

Seattle is the clear favorite. If they weren't already, last night reinforced it. They looked like a machine on both sides.

Just one game, but yes they are favorites.

GB kept it close until their RT went down who was a turd.

What's that have to do with making teams draft him?

The NFL called to gauge interest. Your link says it. No where does it say the NFL asked a team to sign him. Media dramatization at its finest.

Do you think the nfl does that for any other player?

They definitely might have, but has any other player ever been openly gay before? The NFL could very well been gauging where the teams stand or urging them not to worry about the circus around it. The link you posted and quotes are pretty ambiguous, but you're talking like the NFL called and begged teams to sign him.

I just said it's possible that it did happen. We will never know just like spygate.

I'm pretty sure the nfl is enforcing the rule this year thkugh. It's basically the equivalent of a pick more than 1 yard from the LOS.

I know the rule. You may have forgotten but I played on the OL so I know most NFL line rules, some were different (clipping IIRC comes to mind) but most are the same.
