Cousins hasn't gotten wins before either? Not his fault he's played those teams this season.

On his career Cousins has completed under 60% of his passes, has only 2 more TDs than INTs, and I could go on. He's not very good. I mean you can do worse than him, but until he proves he can actually do it against decent opponents, I will just assume he isn't that good. Maybe he's better than RG3, but even if he is that's not that special.

guess time will have to tell. By the time you accept that's he's a good QB the bandwagon will be full though.

Rough start for Kirk early on. His teamnates are not helping him at all either. Either protection breakdowns or penalties and pass catchers not doing their jobs.

Said it before and I'll say it over and over again.

Forward progress is the most inconsistently called, and stupidest rule in the NFL.

Yeah I agree.

So what would you do then?

Get rid of it.

It's so inconsistent. Some refs blow the whistle when the runner is stuck, I've also seen instances where the runner is stuck and the ref lets it go and doesn't call the play dead and the runner escapes and sneaks more yards.

If the runner is going for the first down, dive for it.

Well so a group of defenders can hold up an offensive player and then rip the ball out? I don't see an easy fix to this issue. Not saying you are wrong.

Go to a knee. Problem solved.

The play hurts defenders who make great plays and make hard tackles that push players back behind the first down marker.

Ummm you can easily hold up a runner. Imagine a DL and a LB holding someone up, the only way as an offense to combat that is for your OL to come flying in and blow it up, which will lead to a fight.

Guy Im playing in fantasy has Eli and Donnel. And I started Cousins over Brady. Hopefully he gets some garbage yards

Absolutely horrid game from Kirk. He'll learn from this and bounce back, but ouch. He has no confidence right now out there. This is hard to watch.

Warrick Dunn was one of the best I ever saw at just dropping to the ground to avoid big collisions.

And holding someone up (picking them off the ground) and running 10 yards the other way, is not the same as grabbing someone's legs and they are stuck in quicksand.
