I think Flacco is terrible but those numbers are quite close to Ryan's....plus he's won a bunch in the playoffs....interesting.

Yeah, but no. Those are just a few stats. I love Jersey Joe, but his 6.07 NY/A is well behind Ryan's 6.56. Ryan scores more TDs, and throws equal picks as a percentage. Less 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives. The difference between them though is Flacco was stronger to start while Ryan has come on stronger later.

Flacco has generally had a top flight (and in a few years the flirted with BOAT if I remember right ) D to rely on. It isn't all in Matt. Hell, and generally much worse OL.

@JayGlazer BREAKING: The JETS have just agreed with Seattle to a trade sending WR Percy Harvin to NY for conditional pick

Where does Seattle go in the passing game now? They don't hae much high end talent on offense bsides him.

Harvin wasn't exactly lighting it up out there. He's really been relevant in only a couple games. Chalk it up to usage if you want, but there's likely a lot more to the story we don't know.

He is/was a prima dona who was upsetting their team chemistry. They won games last yr without him. They'll still win without him this yr too.

This confirms an initial report from The Sideline View's Lance Zierlein. A source also tells the Seattle Times that Harvin had an altercation with Doug Baldwin in August that resulted in Baldwin getting a cut on his chin. A final straw was reportedly Harvin balking about going back into last week's game against Dallas, possibly angry over not being used more early on. Zierlein was told "Harvin's anger issues are just too much to deal with and he could single handedly bring down team chemistry."

Sure, they'll still win games because they're still one of the more talented teams in the league, maybe the most talented.

But Kearse/Baldwin as a 1-2 doesnt exactly keep DC's up at night.

If teams are smart, they pack the box with 8, and play press man on the outside.

They did draft Richardson, Norwood, and have Lockette, but none of those are 1's.

And they had Tate last year who was really good for them, he's not there anymore.

Lynch wanted Harvin to stay, almost didnt get on the team bus to Stl.

TURMOIL, RIGHT?

It's my understanding that the conditional pick that the Jets gave up with a sixth rounder. No official word from the teams yet. #nyj

6th rounder? I hope it's 6 conditional to like 2 if he's healthy or something like that. Vick should be able to use Harvin's speed over the top.
