REAL FOOTBALL Thread

Thethe has a good point, when you're catching a pass from a QB who has things like accuracy and touch it's easier than trying to catch a pass from a thrower who's just trying to impress people with how hard he can throw.

Yup, trying to impress by being able to fit balls into the second and third windows down the field. Things Ryan can only dream of. He is just lucky he has the best weapons in football.

Yep. Too many Aaron Hernandez's on that team. I love Colin, don't love the rest of the team. THey have some issues. I like SF after GB in the NFC. BUt I have been a Bronco fan since 1973 and I want to shoot our SS for that stupid play against Baltimore or we would be Superbowl champs right now. Manning was a pussy on that last drive but I forgive him because he has been there before. He has even more powerful weapons this year and I won't be surprise they pull a NE go underfeated and lose in the Superbowl.

Denver would have gotten spanked in the Super Bowl again anyway. It wouldn't have been 55-10 this time though. SUCKA.

According to CSN Bay Area, Colin Kaepernick has showed an "amazing" amount of improvement on touch passes, which was considered one of his weaknesses in previous training camps.

I dont believe this to be accurate considering I was already told he had incredible touch.

That's weird, I don't think he could possibly get any better with how amazing he already is.

They said in previous training camps. But, over the course of 2012 into the playoffs he improved it drastically. Silly guy....learn how to read!! :eusa_dance:

Im pretty open this year to some guys...I dont wanna draft someone too early. I think he'll have a good year...especially since he should be running and scoring some rushing tds...

He should be in the 2nd tier of QBs taken unless someone overpays...so we will have to see.

Yeah, its tough to take him over guys like Brees/Peyton/Brady (risky this year)/Ryan/Romo because those guys are so established but like you said he is going to get a lot of fantasy points running the ball.

Id be fine with taking Romo in the mid rounds...

I would avoid Brees, Brady, Manning, Ryan, Luck..probably wouldnt be too thrilled taking Wilson...of those ranked in the top 10 fantasy wise.

Are you avoiding Brees because you don't like him?

That guy is about as money as it gets with fantasy and now with Payton back int he fold I would think he would have an even better season than last year.

Because he's a system QB.

Also loves to pad stats....similar to Brady.

Katrina should have gotten his mansion.
