REAL FOOTBALL Thread

No evidence.

Hopefully the NFL will stop this letting team representatives control game balls and instead have it be controlled by an official. They have more than enough money to stop another Ballghazi.

Yeah, I don't understand why teams handle that separately, anyway. Seems odd.
Couldn't Baltimore have just accused the Pats the same way Indy did?

Blurb on Clowney on rotoworld that he likely may begin camp on PUP. That career may be derailed before it ever got off the ground. microfracture is no bs...

Doesn't go well when the dude doesn't even want to play either.

Citing nearly 20 Browns sources, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Pat McManamon report Johnny Manziel exhibited a "year-long pattern" of lacking commitment and preparation to football and a "continued commitment to nightlife" during his rookie year.

One player called Manziel a "100 percent joke." Team security reportedly found Manziel "drunk off his a--" the morning before the Browns' season finale. He was fined for missing a treatment for his injured hamstring and spent the Week 17 loss to Baltimore in Cleveland's locker room. During his first NFL start, "Several sources said Manziel either didn't know the plays in the huddle or didn't call them correctly." Sources also told Fowler and McManamon that since-departed OC Kyle Shanahan preferred Jimmy Garoppolo and Tom Savage to Manziel as a 2014 draft prospect. Fowler and McManamon claim Manziel still has some "support in the (Browns') building," though it's mostly "on the business side."

I have a napkin that Belichek wrote his plans to deflate the footballs on. By my experience that's all the proof the NFL needs to suspend Belichek and Brady for a year and take 2 first round draft picks.

Kraft and Roger are butt buddies.

I doubt they lose more than 1 draft pick and a fine of whatever at most.

Not saying i disagree though.

To me, this is what's going on here: The NFL ain't college. You don't have your bros looking up to you, hyping you up in the NFL. You have grown ass men, crazy dudes, trying to make their money by killing you in a profession where the average guy doesn't do it very long. They aren't impressed and don't think you're the man. He was the man at A&M on and off the football field. The NFL is for grown men, not frat boys.

It's ****ing dumb.

And Papelbon was suspended for bumping into Wild Joe West.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...spended-seven-games-obscene-gesture/15697537/

I don't think there is much evidence to support he was suspended 7 games just for bumping into Joe West. It may have played a role in it being an extended punishment, but definitely not the sole reason.

Also, even if that was the reason he was still ejected for grabbing himself. Which is far more extreme than a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty.

Anyways, I think it's justifiable that the NFL would want to prevent their players from making obscene gestures in front of the entire free world. It's such a stupid thing for Lynch to fight, and mind you I LOVE Lynch.

Well he was ejected as he was leaving the field, by Joe West, who's a ****ing cunt.

And I think that NFL players should have more leniency to show off, cause **** it they'll be braindead in 30 years or less.

Falcons, please take Rah Rah Raheem Morris. Pretty please. Ive never seen a secondary leave so many guys free.
