Idk why Maclin wouldn't just take $9 mil to stay with Philly. He's not going to put up better numbers in KC, that's for sure.

Long shot. Most sane coaches wouldn't spend a premium pick on a pure slot guy. They had to get his talent on the field so they put him out there in 3 wides.

I understand that and I don't necessarily blame him, but you know you will be successful in one system and chase the money instead. I'm not mad, I'm happy he's gone. Just wonder if it will be worth it to him.

Huff is explosive and maybe they like what they seen out of him. He would seem to be a good slot guy. Maybe they signed another vet like Gore to hold them over until other young guys are groomed

I'll be honest. I didn't think the window for the 49rs was this small. Harbaugh came out of this thing smelling like a ROSE. And stinkin' arse rich.

No offense to any of the rest of that D but Justin Smith is what made that whole defense great. He's why Aldon Smith looked like such a stud, not that he isn't good too, but Justin made Aldon look even better than he was/is. They WILL miss him.
 
Vaughn McClure And D. Orlando Ledbetter both said to expect the Falcons to be really quiet in free agency. That seems to be happening (although the Falcons are notoriously tight lipped about everything).

The Weatherspoon situation is strange. Either they were not interested in him at all or Spoon wanted to move on because the deal he's going to sign in Arizona is peanuts (probably loaded with incentives).
 
@Rand_Getlin: Source: LB Brooks Reed is leaning toward signing with the #Falcons when free agency opens on Tuesday.

Good first move for the Falcons. I like it.
