Word going around that players aren't thrilled about the opportunity to play for Chip Kelly. Gore backed out after hearing more, and after Maclin left leaving very little offensive talent. He decided playing for the Colts and their zero run game was more intriguing. Interesting.

So far, according to PFF the bad signings:

Cole Beasley

Ray Maulauga

David Harris

Michael Oher

Josh Mauga

Mark Sanchez

THe good ones:

Brandon Graham

Randall Cobb

Doug Free

Probably didn't view Philly as great of an opportunity for a SB as Indy (Luck).

Stephen A smith was basically calling Kelly a racist on national TV yesterday so there's that

Gore is probably a better fit for Indy. They want to grind away with the running game. (See Trent Richardson trade, lol) Plus, in Philly Gore would have split carries with Sproles and Polk. Makes sense to go to INdy.

Which is BS, Stephen A is a moron (in case you didn't know).

Fully aware of S.A.Smiff's reputation of loving to hear himself talk. I didn't know that show was still on really.

Maclin followed the $ and they had an in house replacement in Matthews and McCoy's production was replaceable. I don't blame him for letting those players walk. Seems like Smith wanting to create controversy where it isn't IMO.

Saw where ATL had reached out to Leonard Hankerson's agent to gauge interest.

Gore would have had a better season in Philly than he will in Indy.

Maybe individually. Probably won't go as far in the playoffs. If Denver and Indy meet up gain with both of the rosters looking how they are now...I'd probably lean Indy.

Denver might be minus Knighton, Thomas, Welker (retired\released?), a few LBs, etc... Indy plus Gore, Johnson, Cole, minus Richardson and they aren't done yet.

Who in the Falcons org loves the Redskins?

If I had to guess, I'm thinking they're looking at poaching players who are "undervalued" Hankerson could be signed for cheap, and be a complimentary piece. If he's drawing the nickel corner and has a real passer throwing to him, he could be a nice 3.

Shanny Jr. and RaRa is my guess

Btw, once upon a time didn't you think Hankerson was almost as good as Julio?

I liked Hankerson coming out of college. I thought he was going to be a really good WR. 6.2 210 with 4..4 speed. His problems (outside of always being hurt) is that he doesn't have great hands and is really soft despite his size. I hope he does well.

Yeah, that's more what I meant. Sproles there for him would be great. They don't use him to run much, anyway. Indy is the better team though.

Falcons looking at Lance Kendricks. Probably a decent move. Hasn't produced, but not given much of a chance with Cook in there. Not much in the way of QB play either. Can do a little of everything.

Those were all known in the combine. He could be a player as a 3 though.
